In preparation for the Baltic artists’ exhibition by L’atelier d’Art Trence in Altenberge, near Münster, I am creating a new series of collages.
This series is coming together slowly and intentionally — forming a cohesive collection of works that speak, through allegory, about the myths of femininity in contemporary life, art, and mythology.
Where have fairy tales become reality, and where does reality hide behind a mask of sarcasm?
Naturally, this process also involves exploring and cultivating my own relationship with femininity.
The exhibition will be open November 15–27 in Altenberge near Münster (Krüselblick 4) and will feature ten artists representing various artistic disciplines.
