Open Doors: Collages at Gārdenstrīta Co-working

I’m giving in to a spontaneous impulse to open the doors of Garden Street on November 7 and 9 so we can enjoy the joy of creating collages together! From 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., come by anytime and:

• make collages from the available materials
• learn new collage-making techniques with Zane Margo
• recharge your energy with coffee or tea
• draw inspiration from conversations or silence
• enjoy a creative and cozy atmosphere

Collage Workshop at Vida Luminosa (Germany)

While visiting Münster again, I will also be leading my second collage workshop at the cozy concept store Vida Luminosa. Together, we’ll embark on a creative journey and dive into the colorful world of collage. All materials will be provided — just bring your imagination.

Meeting in Art (Germany)

In preparation for the Baltic artists’ exhibition by L’atelier d’Art Trence in Altenberge, near Münster, I am creating a new series of collages.

This series is coming together slowly and intentionally — forming a cohesive collection of works that speak, through allegory, about the myths of femininity in contemporary life, art, and mythology.
Where have fairy tales become reality, and where does reality hide behind a mask of sarcasm?

Naturally, this process also involves exploring and cultivating my own relationship with femininity.

The exhibition will be open November 15–27 in Altenberge near Münster (Krüselblick 4) and will feature ten artists representing various artistic disciplines.

ARTe Kunstmesse Dortmund (Germany)

Thanks to artist Iveta Trence and the encouragement of my loved ones, at the beginning of the month I sent several of my collages to be exhibited at the ARTe Kunstmesse Dortmund art and design fair.

It will be not only my creative debut beyond Latvia’s borders, but also my first participation in such a significant art event per se.

I’m pleasantly excited.

ARTe Kunstmesse Dortmund will take place from November 7–9.
The gallery L’atelier d’Art Trence will represent five Latvian artists and their works.
